Katy was born and raised in Nebraska before moving to New York City where she worked in food for over a decade. She began her career in restaurants, most notably creating desserts for two-Michelin-starred Blanca. After her time in restaurant kitchens, she expanded into food styling, writing, recipe development, consumer packaged goods, and consulting. You can order her banana granola here.

Katy moved to Los Angeles in 2021 where she continues to create and collaborate with clients, creatives, and brands.
